Dave Grohl publishes his first book, The storyteller: stories from life and music, on October 5th, and now we have a fresh look at what’s going to be in it.
The trailer for Grohl’s memoir shows old home videos and his decision to write about his life. “My life flashes before my eyes every day. And while writing this book, I tried to capture those moments as best I could, ”he says.
Grohl goes on by stating that for the first time in a long time when the pandemic broke out, he had time. Starting with writing stories for fun on an Instagram page, the Foo Fighters frontman discovered his passion for writing and came up with the idea for his own memoir.
Check out the trailer below and what else it had to say.
The trailer comes just days after the band was honored and performed at the VMAs. At the beginning of the year the Foo Fighters released their 10th studio album, Medicine at midnight, and 11th as Dee Gees, which was essentially a Bee Gees cover album, along with some new songs that were listed on the B-side. They also opened Madison Square Garden, headlined festivals, rocked Guns N ‘Roses and appeared at a show in Los Angeles in August with 11-year-old phenomenon Nandi Bushell.
